Erica is a literacy coach and reading specialist who develops teacher’s expertise in readers and writers workshops. Erica brings a breadth of experience as she has taught and coached grades K-8, worked with diverse populations in various school settings, and received extensive literacy and coaching training from Columbia University’s Teacher College Reading and Writing Project. In addition, she holds a Masters Degree in Reading and has a Reading Specialist credential. She has conducted workshops for schools and taught at the university level. Drawing upon the most current reading research and best practices in literacy instruction, Erica is truly a skilled coach, staff developer, and teacher. Her passion lies in providing professional development through on-site coaching in lab classrooms.

Erica is now a Texan as she recently relocated with her family to Frisco from California. She is a mom of three kids and couldn't do this work without the loving support from her husband Brian. She enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and spending time with her family.
