•I am passionate about helping teachers have a deep understanding of the math content as well as the progression of learning to best help their students have that deep understanding.

•I spent 12 years in the elementary classroom and 8 years as a math coach working with grades K-5. My experience is with schools at all different socioeconomic levels.

• Specialist in district curriculum and assessment items along with items for the TEKS Resource System and TEKS Bank.

•I have traveled the country supporting schools with Small Group Instruction, Guided Math, Number Routines and Intervention programs.

•I have presented workshops for teachers throughout my career including presentation at National, State and local conventions focusing on best practices for math instruction, assessment and technology integration.

• As an educational consultant, I have worked with Region X and XI as a trainer for state Math Academies, problem solving and formative assessment.

•I hold a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M and spent the first 13 years of my professional career as a CPA before becoming a teacher. I received my Master’s in Educational Administration from Concordia University of Texas in 2010.
